Did you ever notice how the new Jeremy Corbyn, looks exactly like Obi Wan Kenobi from the original Star Wars movies…?
Jeremy Corbyn is the new Labour Party Leader in the UK – he’s kind of like the Democratic candidate, Bernie Sanders in the US.
Except that Jeremy Corbyn has already won.
And he looks EXACTLY like Obi Wan Kenobi.
Coincidence…?
Or is JC actually a Jedi…?
Let’s explore…
- It was almost impossible (like a million to one impossible) for Obi Wan Corbyn to win – kind of like Luke Skywalker trying to blow up the Death Star with just 1 shot.
- He appears to be an honest politician. The Jedi aren’t seduced by power.
- He actually wants to sit down and talk to the Palestinians like they’re human beings (instead of blindly supporting Israel’s bombing of Gaza) and he was against the war on Iraq. The Jedi are known to be “Keepers of the Peace”.
- He has been campaigning tirelessly for 25+ years for what he believes in – taking down the corporate cheats & the military-industrial complex (aka. The Empire).
- When he was a back-bencher, he was called a ‘Rebel’. The Jedi were called ‘Rebels’ when they fought against the Empire.
Well, Jedi or not, he’s definitely my choice for the next leader of the country.
Maybe I’m wrong and maybe he’d be a terrible leader, and sell out as soon as he gets to power…
…But I see A New Hope. (Yes. That was a pun.)
